Graphic Designer & Visual Artist
Abel Teclemariam is a Multi-Disciplinary graphic designer, art director, and visual artist whose work centers around visual storytelling, cultural expression, and thoughtful design. His practice blends structured design systems with instinctive creativity, moving between editorial design, branding, art direction, and visual identity work.
He is also the Founder and Creative Director of STUDIO.Neuf.Trois (S.93), an independent creative studio and extension of his personal practice. Studio.93 brings together designers, photographers, filmmakers, artists, and other creatives to develop work across identity, campaigns, editorial, film, photography, objects, and culture. Previously, Abel served as the Associate Art Director at VALŪS Magazine, Lead Graphic designer of Nike lead community running innitiative Forward Motion
ALL CAPS Studio
His work is shaped by the places, people, cultures, and experiences around him. Moving between systems and experimentation, his approach often draws from the past without being bound to it, using typography, image, material, reference, and composition to create work that feels lived-in rather than overly polished.
Outside of design, Abel spends much of his time painting, skateboarding, playing soccer, cooking, reading, and biking. These interests exist alongside the work rather than outside of it, continually finding their way back into the images, references, movement, and ideas that shape his practice.
